Central Conservatory of Music is the only key conservatory of music in China. Its examination board of CCOM music examination for non-majors is composed of national-level experts from all the schools of the Conservatory. Approved by the Ministry of Culture, the exam is one of the most authoritative music exams in the world. Led by its academic board, CCOM music examination for non-majors aims to provided the amateurs with a national-level exam universally acknowledged by the society, helping China to achieve universal education, elevate the average music level and increase the cultural awareness of its people, making it an authoritative guideline for music learners and teachers and promoting the greater career of music education to be normative, scientific with strict management, fine tradition, authoritative and impartial criteria.
　　　　Designated by Central Conservatory of Music, Hainan Liu Shi Kun Piano and Art center has been the only authorized undertaker in Hainan since 1999 for CCOM music examination for non-majors and has been praised and recognized by the test takers and their parents, living up to the trust and support from the relevant department and leaders.
　　　　Since the establishment of the school, it has held all kinds of large-scale music contests. For example, Swayder Cup Piano Contest for Children and Teenagers in Hong Kong initially launched by Mr.Liu Shikun in 1994 and is held every two years; qualification trials of the 6th and 7th Guangdong Qin Xing Cup Piano Contest in Hainan; the 2nd and the 9th Chopin International Youth Piano Contest in Hainan, etc.
